The Council consists of 13 research professionals who are either individuals or representatives of a team. Only 1 member of a team may hold a council seat but team members may be rotated through the council, provided they meet the requirements to hold a council seat.
Each seat is a minimum of 1 year.
The sitting council will consist of the following:
Chair, Co-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and 9 Subject Matter Experts (Environmental Data, Photography, Video, Audio, Parapsychology, Technology, Cryptozoology, Biology, Occult/Religion
The first strategic goal for CoRPs is to create a set of standards for research collection. What do we collect? How do we collect it? How do we ensure the validity of the data? We need seasoned researchers to collaborate and create these standards.
Minimum 5 years of paranormal field research.
Familiar with the use of data logging equipment and types of data collected during paranormal research.
An understanding of the scientific process.
Willingness to collaborate and discuss topics to agree on standards.
Attend the CoRPs meeting once a month.
Vote when necessary.
Maintain open communication.
Subject Matter Experts are people who have gained knowledge in a field through education and experience. Are you an expert in your field? Review the qualifications below and apply!
You must be experienced in the use of the subject including what may be anomalous and what is natural. Recommended experience of 5+ years of use, review, and troubleshooting.
Must have basic education on the subject and be willing to continue your education where it pertains to the paranormal field.
You must be willing to provide your expert opinion on the subject when needed. This includes standards creation, peer-review, and knowledge sharing.
